Organic Design Set: A Unique Ceramic Sanitaryware Set

Design Inspired by the Human Skeleton System

The Organic Design Set stands out from other sanitaryware sets due to its unique concept. The designers aimed to create objects that resemble the human bone system, resulting in a set that is both functional and visually striking.

The set includes a washbasin and a wall-hung WC. The washbasin, measuring 600mm x 450mm with a height of 720mm, features a surface area that mimics the organic form of bones. To achieve this, a special assembly part was developed to connect the basin to the wall. Additionally, special apparatuses were created for casting, transportation, and firing of the greenware with a small foot area.

The wall-hung WC, measuring 520mm x 360mm, has a seat that overlaps the WC pan top surface, creating a sleek and modern look reminiscent of a flat laptop. The design team paid careful attention to every detail, ensuring that the set not only looks aesthetically pleasing but also functions efficiently.

One of the standout features of the Organic Design Set is its water-saving flushing system. The big flushing option uses only 4 liters of water, while the small flushing option uses 2.5 liters. This results in a significant water saving of 36 tons per year for a four-person family home. The set also includes a concealed mounting system, a super-slim seat cover, a slow-close cover system, and easy installation.

The Organic Design Set was developed through extensive research and collaboration with various departments. The design team worked closely with production experts to develop production methods, assembly components, and auxiliary parts. The project took place in Bilecik/Bozuyuk, Turkey, starting in April 2014 and concluding in September 2014.

This innovative design has been recognized for its excellence and innovation. The Organic Design Set was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in the Bathroom Furniture and Sanitary Ware Design category in 2015. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise, innovation, and artistic skill. The Organic Design Set showcases a remarkable level of excellence and introduces a sense of wonder and amazement.
